If you follow Kelly Olivares Photography on Facebook, you heard that I recently lost my Papa. He was 78 years young with a strong personality and a soft heart. He was a great man and definitely a leader of his family, 6 children + 3 spouses, 12 grandchildren + 5 spouses, and 12 great grandchildren. Papa followed the Lord's word, taught his sons and grandsons the skills of being a carpenter. I picked up a few things, the most important is measure twice and cut once. I'm definitely not afraid to pick up a saw or hammer, well, to build props. It may be the end of a generation in our family but the legacy will live on forever. The slideshow below shows, no matter how big or little the house, what kind of car you have, where you go to school or what work you are in, family is family. We were always together and it was important to us to stay that way even after our grandma had passed away in 2002. He joined his wife, son and daughter in heaven when Jesus was ready. We'll be seeing you later, Papa.
